Giorgio Armani’s Emporio Armani collection showed in GUM

view all photos Emporio Armani collection called «Red night at Moscow» was held on October the 27th on GUM’s central line under the guidance of the Giorgio Armani House’s designer and founder. The show coincided with the anniversary of the first flagship 3-store Emporio Armani shop’s opening in Moscow.

Guests entered GUM through the Emporio Armani shop, where they could see the collection and make some shopping. Before entering the main hall the guests were offered stand-up meal, champagne and light cocktails. Visitors talked, took pictures and gave interviews. At 10.00 p.m. everyone was invited to Emporio Armani show. GUM’s central line was fully black cloth draped and across the entire hall there was a lacquered runway where model appeared presenting youth lines.

Dima Bilan’s appearance as a model on the catwalk was a pleasant surprise for everyone. After the show, Dmitry confessed that he was very happy to work with the legendary designer and to take part in the Emporio Armani show.

The culminating point in the show was the Maestro’s appearance on the runway followed by a thunder of applause. The audience stood up to honor the Great designer.

Giorgio Armani was touched enough by the warm reception and passed till the end of the catwalk to welcome all guests.

Many famous guests gathered in the trading house to see the Emporio Armani collection and to see the historically important designer alive. Among the guests were Alexey Nemov, Julia Bordovskikh, Svetlana Khorkina, Tatiana Navka, Maria Petrova and Alexey Tikhonov, Lydia Alexandrova, Olga Sviblova, Alyona Doletskaya, Evelina Khromchenko Alexander Shumsky, Nikolai Uskov, Irina Gafina, Nadia Solovieva, Nadia Mikhalkova and Rezo Gigienishvili, Natalia Sindeeva, Philip Jankowski and Oksana Fandera, Stepan and Elizabeth Mikhalkov, Ingeborga Dapkunaite, Kyril Kleimenov, Sergei Shakurov, Valery Syutkin, brothers Kristovskiy, Mikhail Druyan , Bart Dorsa, Irina Zabiaka, VJ Marika, Alyona Babenko, Arina Sharapova, Emin Agalarov with his wife Leyla Aliyeva, Igor Uglolnikov with his wife, Katya Strizhenova, Mikhail Barshchevsky with his wife, etc.

After the show ended almost nobody went away. The guests remained and discussed the outstanding event, shared their impressions about the collection and simply had fun.
