BOSCO DI CILIEGI is the 2014 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games’ General Partner

view all photos Dmitry Chernyshenko, the President of the Sochi-2014 Organizing committee and Mikhail Kusnirovich, the head of BOSCO di Ciliegi group of companies signed an agreement on the 28th of October in Moscow. According to this agreement the «Sporttovari BOSCO» LLC becomes the 2014 Olympics and Paralympics general partner in the “sports clothing and footwear” category. Besides the partnership contract BOSCO Sport received a license to produce the «Sochi-2014» labeled items. BOSCO di Ciliegi will be the official outfit’s supplier for the Sochi Games, as well as for Russia's Olympic team until 2016 (Olympics games in Vancouver 2010, London 2012, Sochi 2014 and Rio de Janeiro 2016). The sponsorship contract’s amount exceeds $100 million. The Vancouver’s outfit copies of Russian Olympic team start to be on sale in BOSCO Sport shops in November.

Dmitry Chernyshenko, the President of the Sochi-2014 Organizing Committee thanked all the bidders, saying: «We are glad that Russian company won the rush. BOSCO Sport’s brand is well-known worldwide already for the collections’ unique design. I am sure that the accumulated experience allows BOSCO Sport creating sportswear for future games meeting Russian athletes’ and fans’ expectations and maybe even shifting the suspense.»

«BOSCO di Ciliegi is a Russian company following the dictates of own conscience and that is why it had luck» — so was Mikhail Kusnirovich, the head of BOSCO di Ciliegi group of companies, commenting the BOSCO Sport’s victory. BOSCO di Ciliegi as a general partner of the Russian Olympic Committee and the Russian Olympic team’s official outfitter is responsible for the Russian Olympians’ image since 2002 thus forming a bright, modern and unique image of the national team.

The original Olympic BOSCO Sport collections are available to all athletes and fans in the BOSCO Sport shops in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Samara, Perm, Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, Krasnoyarsk and Kemerovo. It is scheduled to open soon shops in Rostov-na-Donu, Kazan, Novosibirsk and other cities.

It was declared on the press conference that Svetlana Khorkina, the multiple Olympic champion in the sports gymnastics will present «Sochi 2014» program aiming to promote healthy lifestyle in the country, Olympic and Paralympic values, and to support every athlete be it disabled or healthy.
