New visual image Sochi 2014 combines functionality and innovation. The motto of this image is «Sochi2014.ru — Gateway to the Future». The main values of the new Sochi 2014 brand are active, striking, real. The emblem solves two tasks at once. On the one hand the Olympic movement is standing at the edge of digital revolution. Innovative approach to the preparation and the Olympics themselves is the guarantee of our success in 2014. So that the Olympics really do get into every house on Earth, all possible communication channels must be found and put into operation, with digital space among them.
On the other hand, not everybody beyond our Homeland know about Sochi. Particle «.ru» in the emblem tells the world that Sochi is the city in Russia. BOSCO Sport company was one of the first Russian companies to become the permanent partner of the Russian team at the Olympic Games. Beginning from the Olympics in Salt Lake City in 2002 we have always been near our sportsmen. 8 years did not pass without leaving a trace: just in the same way as Sochi 2014 team is doing now, we studied, analyzed, changed, until we have come to an optimum solution. The image of Russia in the eyes of the countrymen and foreigners is such that it is the largest country in the world, multinational and powerful, with great potential. We bet on this potential.
