New Year is the miracles’ time. There is even no need to wait for the Santa Claus, who used to put presents under the tree in our childhood. You may make presents by your own anytime, in such a way bringing joy and happiness to others.
The Christmas exposition «New Year trees on the Red Square» is a real hand-made miracle.
33 participants among which are GUM shops and partners have decorated the New Year trees in their individual style. There is a good Christmas tradition to bedizen trees with different home stuff. An original and nice tree becomes the most beautiful decoration. Such «home decorated» unusual trees will be exhibited on the GUM lines up to the December, the 24th, and then these items will be sold at a charity auction. All collected funds from the Christmas trees sale will be transferred to the «Line of life» foundation to assist children suffering of heart disease.
With the first auction, held in the eve of 2009, we managed to collect more than 1 500 000 rubles. This money helped save the lives of 10 children.
We are waiting for you at a charity auction on December, the 24th in the GUM’s Demonstration Hall.
