Charitable auction called «Christmas trees in GUM on the Red Square» took place in the GUM’s demonstration hall. 18 trees were exposed for the auction all exclusively designed by fashion brands and partners of the trading house.
The evening was opened by president of the «line of life» charity fund Faina Zakharova. She spoke about the organization’s activities, about the actual care received by sick children through the collected funds. Children photos that need immediate medical care were shown.
The auction’s performer Xenia Sobchak announced the tender’s beginning. The first lot was the Audi Christmas tree, designed by the Audi Design Center, and it was auctioned in few minutes.
Bosco di Ciliegi presented Christmas trees in the BoscoSPORT and BoscoFamily style. There were many people who intended to get the lots so it was a real fight to get the final price. 4 million rubles were collected and transferred to the fund «line of life» for the targeted assistance to children suffering from heart diseases.
