Spring/summer 2010 footwear collections by John Lobb

Since the middle of the XIX century John Lobb Company manufactures custom-made footwear for distinguished people among which where princes and kings, movie stars, famous sportsmen and some important businessmen. Once, in 1976, when John Lobb joined Hermès, the company also offered an exclusive collection of ready-to-wear footwear. Hermes keeps John Lobb traditions in manufacturing made to order footwear, paying much attention to elegance and quality. Wide range of models, types and colors are to everyone’s liking even to the most exigent one. Producing footwear the brand uses only the best leather, but John Lobb’s technology and professional secrets are carefully taught through generation to generation. To make a complete image the brand offers a wide selection of belts, wallets and other leather accessories of the same colors and textures as the footwear is made of. John Lobb shops have footwear care lines too.
John Lobb collection Spring-Summer 2010 offers two new footwear models (Oxford and Derby), that take position between the categories «classic» and «prestige». They are distinguished by rounded toe and lower heel. Double decorative stitch makes these models fresh and modern.
Legendary urban style model of Turvey and Kipling this season will be updated. The Turvey model will be of two new kinds of calf leather: these are Zonta Calf of very light sandy color and Matt Calf of black color. Kipling model this summer is a combination of white calf leather and suede.
Canvas will be actively used again. The collection’s characteristic feature is that footwear’s top is made of two combined materials. When choosing the color solution muted tones were preferred.
For spring-summer 2010 collection the new summer rubber outsole of caramel color is designed, and along with the leather sole is also used in Kipling and City III models.
